In the era of social media, a new trend has taken the virtual world by storm: fitness influencers. These are individuals who share their fitness journeys, often promoting products and courses along the way.
As a teenager deeply immersed in social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, I've encountered countless fitness-related videos. Initially, my reaction was far from positive. I often found these influencers to be more about bragging than genuinely helping others. Their talk of excessive gym routines and unrealistic fitness tips was off-putting. Thankfully, my upbringing included a healthy skepticism of internet content, a skill for which I'm immensely grateful.
However, curiosity led me down a path of exploration, and I discovered a variety of fitness influencers. To my surprise, many were authentic and genuinely inspiring. Gradually, I found myself drawn to their videos, appreciating their honest and practical approach to fitness.
This newfound interest eventually led me to the gym. It's been two weeks since I started my fitness journey, and the experience has been transformative.
