My life as an introvert

I am an introvert.
All through my life I had trouble assimilating with people. I used to feel incredibly nervous in crowded settings. I always felt like I missed out on something.
During festivals I would watch, everyone enjoying themselves, having fun dancing to the loud music. no matter how hard I tried I used to feel exhausted after some time and needed quiet time in order to get my energy back.
social events always seemed to drain my energy. I looked forward to going to social events but i always needed a break.
I thought I was weird, for not wanting to talk to people.
But I did my best to hide it. I was always the ' outgoing' girl.
I wish I could be in a quiet place. it was always my safe space.
after becoming older I became quieter and that's when people started to notice.
everyone thought I turned quiet. but no.
I was always like this. a quiet person who liked the silence. who wanted to daydream instead of interacting. An introvert.
after a lot of thought I decided to embrace being an introvert. I don't care anymore.
I have felt happier after embracing my inner introverted self. and that was what led me to writing.
ever since I began writing I feel I am complete. I hope to continue this little passion of mine for the rest of my life and hopefully turn it into a career.
Even if I don't it would be nice for future me to look back at herself and seen how much she has grown.
