The unexpected turns of life

I am sitting at my school at the end of the day writing this blog post. Things seem so eerily familiar. I don't know. I have had a lot of time to reflect on my life overall throughout today.

Firstly I could not believe how far I had come regarding my writing. I was sitting with an internship, and it only seemed yesterday that I was a shy 12-year-old hesitating to write cause it would be a quote-unquote waste of time.

Today I realise it is not. I have come so far. My career has been planned, and my writing skills helped me get ahead of my peers when it came to working.

Another thing I reflected on was how far I had come in terms of maturity. It only seemed yesterday that I was a shy 12-year-old groaning at the prospect of lockdown.

Nearly 3 years, and I am turning 15! I literally don't know what to think or say. My life has changed so much. I am so different from what I thought I would be at 15 when I was 12. This is a good indicator of not thinking much about the future cause life does take an unexpected turn.
